Break Forth in Joyous Song and Sing Praise! Our music program is exciting and diverse at PCCT, and currently involves nearly 100 youth and adults from the congregation. All of our ensembles are featured regularly at Sunday Morning Worship, and our music ministry presents many special concerts throughout the year as well. If you, or your child, is interested in participating in any portion of our music program, either call the church office to speak with our Music Director Adam Waite, or just stop by a rehearsal! All are welcome!! Carol Choir (Grades K-2)
A fun
and energetic youth choir, perfect for kids just beginning to sing!
Led by Children's Music Director
Michael Callahan , this group sings once a month at
worship.
Youth Bells (Grades 3-8)
Children get to learn the fundamentals of bell choir by playing
tone chimes and
handbells!
Psalm Singers (Grades 3-8) Our more advanced youth choir, this group is designed for older children and pre-teens who may have had previous experience singing in a choral setting. Directed by Michael Callahan, this ensemble frequently sings 2-part settings of anthems, and also sings occasionally with the Adult Chancel Choir in worship. Rehearsal is on Sundays from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.
Manna Band (Grades 9-College)
The
Manna Project is a unique contemporary praise band, featuring our
high school and college-aged musicians. This group leads worship
once a month at the 9:15am service, and is led by Director of Music,
Adam
Waite.
Chancel Choir (Grade 9 - Adult)
The
Chancel Choir is the largest group at PCCT, currently 40 members
strong. This 4-part chorus sings regularly at Sunday morning
worship, and presents special music programs throughout the year,
including our annual Community Christmas Concert. The Chancel Choir
will be performing at our upcoming building dedication concert with
the Corpus Christi Choir and members of The College of New Jersey
Wind Ensemble and is directed by Adam Waite. Rehearsals are on
Thursday evenings from 8:00 - 9:30pm.
Sanctuary Ringers (Grade 9 - Adult) This 5-octave hand bell choir, is open to new or experienced ringers alike! New members are always welcome, as are substitutes when our current members are away! Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 6:45 - 7:45pm.
The Folk Group (Adult)
The
Folk Group is the newest ensemble at PCCT, featuring guitar, banjo,
piano, violin, and upright bass. The group plays once a month at
worship, and rehearsal times vary. Contact
Adam Waite if you are interested in joining, or
would like to know the next time the folk group will be playing!
