Bible Studies

Reverend Dr. Halldorson leads a Bible Study on Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  There are a variety of Lectio Divina (contemplative Bible Study) group opportunities, which run during Advent and Lent seasons led by Rev. Oehler and lay leaders.  There is also a lay-led monthly Bible Study.

Individual Spiritual Direction

Rev. Oehler meets monthly with people interested in pursuing individual spiritual direction.  Spiritual direction is an ancient practice of attending, with another person, to the movements of one’s spiritual life. (Learn more)

Group Spiritual Direction

Rev. Oehler facilitates two groups, which meet monthly.  The purpose of the groups is to assist one another in an ongoing awareness of God in all of life.  (Learn more)

Special Classes

Both Rev. Halldorson and Rev. Oehler lead adult education programs throughout the year, exploring issues as diverse as Christian history, prayer, and movies on historical figures in scripture.  See calendar for details.

Sabbath Days

Rev. Oehler leads six Sabbath Days a year at Johnsonburg Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center. (Learn more)
